There are many different attractions for you to visit at the rally.

Old Time FairgroundFairground

Since the early days there has always been fairground amusements at the Rally.  Throughout the years the Society have always tried to have the traditional rides such as the Galloping Horses Roundabout, the Big Wheel, Cake Walk, etc plus rifle range and side stalls.

A recent addition to the fairground is the Hurricane Jets owned by the Society's Chairman, Dave Prout.  This ride was a regular sight at Hereford May Fair in the 1950s and 60s.

As usual the fairground is Steam Engines at nightpowered Fairgroundby electricity which is supplied by the showmans engines on display throughout the day.

This is always a fabulous sight on Friday and Saturday evening.

Penny Rigden Dancers

Penny Rigden Dancers have been a regular attraction at the Rally for many years, and Penny first appeared at the rally in the 1970s.  Dancers at WellandPenny and her girls come from Windsor and perform at shows and rallies all over the country.  The dancers perform on stage in front of one of the many fairground organs on site.

This is a direct link with the great Edwardian steam fairs when troupes of "paraders" as they were then know would dance to the organ in front of the bioscope (cinema) shows as an enticement to the public to pay their money and enter the show.

Vintage Auction

Vintage Auction 2006Vintage Auction 2006Every year on the Friday of the rally a vintage auction is held, with a wide variety of Steam, Vintage and Agricultural items for sale.
